During the flight here I started to feel that I'm getting sick and when I landed here, I felt awful. I had fever, a very sore throat and a huge headache. I'm feeling better now, luckily I'll play my first match on Tuesday so I get to practice before that. My first two days here I didn't step outside my room. This is fifth time that I get sick during the last 12 months, that's not normal. I have tried to get my immune system stronger but obviously it hasn't worked well. I have to see a doctor again when I come back from this trip.

To get sick that often is not good for anyone but especially when your profession is an athlete, it has a big negative affect to your performance. At least you always lose practice-, rest- or competition days. I have often gotten sick during the spring time (in Europe) because my allergy and asthma (those I have had since I was a little kid) often take down my immune system during that time but I have never been sick this often. I'm happy that I haven't got injured more but you still don't need any viruses/bacteria to disturb your plans. Hopefully I can stay healthy for the rest of the season. First just to get ready for my match here.
